That'd be some crazy tourney rules. I'm not a big fan of the way they group you into pods and the place you finished in to determine the next pods but there really isn't any other way to do it.

Although I do like the idea of two-headed whale (2HG EDH style). You could have the final pairings play FFA for 1st. That's be cool.

There will be some ridiculous {Sen Triplets} + {Tendrils of Agony} shenanigans going on and netdecks.

Agree with both of you, it's bad enough at my LGS, with the net decked material... Kids don't even know how to play their own decks... One player brought in a  {Momir Vig, Simic Visionary} combo deck, and a printed piece of paper straight off of MTGS on what his deck 'could' do and 'what' to do... Needless to say my home brew  {Riku of Two Reflections} was glass cannon pointed directly at him from before the game began.

Proxy hate represent. I remover Bering new to the game and using decks I spent lots of time and energy on getting stomped by a guy who just had names written on land cards, wtf seriously
