{Elbrus, the Binding Blade} cannot be in a colorless deck, as it's flipped side, {Withengar Unbound} is {B}.

Lands that say "add mana of any color" actually can't produce mana for you. Colorless is not a color, and can't be selected. So {Rupture Spire} and {Lotus Vale} and the like are unable to give you any mana.

Also, those {plains} technically can't be in a colorless deck either. Ask your play group first if it's okay for you to use basic lands and just have have them produce colorless mana instead.

The woes of colorless EDH are many.

Iandtormentor

Don't the lands still give out mana it's just {1} mana?

Double-O-Scotch

Yes, but technically they violate construction rules. No plains in a non white deck allowed.

Yes, but EDH cares about color "identity" instead of color. Since Plains actually have "{T}: Add {W} to your mana pool" in their text (it was taken off because it will never change, but older lands do have it), they have white color identity. Anything that produces white mana (or any other color) has white color identity (or the respective color).

ok I see...thanks lol I'm glad you posted this before I started cheating by thinking that they had no identity. :)
