Selling to SCG

Is it worth it? Has anyone done it before? I'm considering selling a few cards to them.

From what I hear you get more value selling on eBay or to another person then a game store.

Depends on how bad you want to get rid of them. You'll probably get more selling on E-Bay or to someone else, but SCG will probably be more convenient because you don't have to wait a week for an auction to end, or hunt anyone down to try to sell to because they are right there.

If u r trying to get rid of bulk commons and uncommons and junk rares that no one wants then yes it is worth it cuz at least u get some money for cards u don't want and can't get rid of. But if it is cards that have some value or cards that people may want, then yes it is worth trying to sell person to person or on eBay cuz u will get much more value out of them. That what I do anyway

Repacks are your friend

Make my money back on boxes and get rid of cards I don't really use anymore, not saying give people worthless cards, but eBay and repacks are an easy way to piece out your collection without someone insulting you by offering $50 because they see 3 cards out of 3000 they want

So how do you repack? Do you show them what they could possibly get? How many cards? 3 uncommons and 1 rare?

I usually do 10 commons then a combo of UC and at least one rare or mythic
Adding foils randomly

I usually throw in one expensive card per 50 pack lot for incentive, essentially the return is a a little more than the value of the expensive cards. When I say expensive, usually it's something $40 and up.

How much do you sell repacks for?

$2 shipping included and then I give free packs if people buy more than one, I see packs on eBay for as high as $10 each, supposedly containing a beta black lotus or something else in the power 9.

It depends on what you include too, some contain all rares etc
I just do 10 commons 4 UC 1 R.  Lots of UC when you open boxes ><
