Bant Control 1.0 60 cards, 0 sideboard 4 {Hallowed Fountain} 4 {Plains} 4 {Temple Garden} 4 {Breeding Pool} 4 {Forest} 4 {Island} 24 lands 3 {Ætherling} 3 {Skylasher} 3 {Deputy of Acquittals} 3 {Voice of Resurgence} 3 {Centaur Healer} 15 creatures 3 {Detention Sphere} 3 {Sphinx's Revelation} 3 {Azorius Charm} 3 {Plasm Capture} 3 {Render Silent} 3 {Beck // Call} 3 {Supreme Verdict} 21 other spells Sideboard Notes: All RtR block I always get ready for rotation after the last set of a block comes out no matter how early it is                       So far testing has proven it to work but it's not as consistent as I would have hoped, I'm looking for a good convoy with {voice of resurgence} but i'm not to good with coming up with combos, I already have ideas on what to take out but I need suggestions on what to put in

It's a high cost but I like the idea of  {Progenitor Mimic} with voice. Also been testing  {Murder Investigation} and buffs on it.

If you copy the token you lose out on the second effect of the card that makes this so good. Otherwise you would just have a more expensive clone

I was thinking copying voice. Every time they cast a spell on your turn or if the voice dies each copy will make it's own token

You still get its second ability cuz the mimic is not a tolken even if you copy a token

I'm pretty sure that when mimic copies it changes its type.  So if you copy the token you lose out on the ability.   It's like clone, it changes the card type after it resolves. If copy a token then it is a token.

Why would you copy the token and not the thing that makes more tokens? I mean, unless the tokens were big enough and you just KNEW you opponent had a {Pillar of Flame}.

Mhmm honestly there could be situations when would be nicer to have mimic producing Voice's tokens either than Voice itself...;)
