The core sets arnt in the first plane. Krenko is from ravnica
Then how do you explain  {Odric, Master Tactician} from innistrad and  {Talrand, Sky Summoner} from shandalar, and  {Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis} from grixis?

MisterJH

Seems just as broken as ever to me(at least as far as standard is concerned)

Harvest

I saw this on Facebook an everyone has been saying they'll stop playing cause of them coming back. Why? It's not like there over powered, or even under powered. Seems people are blowing them way out of proportion.  I kinda like them.

Birdbrain

Doesn't matter. Some people hate them. I was one of those people, but have decided to give them a chance

Stopping playing because a popular old tribal creature type is getting a few new prints seems a little silly.

They seem fine. Sure, it's a strong tribe, but I definitely agree that it's being blown out if proportion.

FlickerYourOwnIdentity

Well we were expecting a tribal set next.  Maybe theros will be tribal.

I hope they make Amazonian's! I just love strong female archetypes!

The Amazonian's were Greek warrior women

As long as they don't have a sliver that makes them all indestructible, I'm fine. I'll overlook this continued dumbing down of the game toward low-curve, easy to design and play aggro decks.

Slivers were always a tribe for new players that like playing creatures. I could see them being a problem in the current environment. There are just not any effective ways to punish aggro players. And it SEEMS like, on the surface, a Sliver deck with access to tons of colors could be potent.

You're thinking Valkeries.

i thought Amazonian's were Greek. Whatever, I just hope they make whatever that strong female tribe is that was in Greece. It would probably be {G}{R} though

MisterJH

Board wipes, as long as slivers dont get indestructible or hexproof/shroud

Spot removal turns slivers into basically a bunch of creatures with bad effects. I could see a soulbound shroud sliver though. But i think if done right theyll jst e another annoying aggro deck that ruins standar for non aggro a little more

Bird, you're correct. Valkyries are Norse. If they do amazonians, they better do Spartans.

Concerning slivers, eh it's just gonna be a cute tribal that'll be decent for the time that  {Cavern of Souls} is still around but I don't think it'll be tops. Especially with the mana cost of these guys. It's like looking at bad reproductions.  {Horned Sliver} and  {Heart Sliver} vs these guys?
