Just a quick question. If I have more than 1 out, and I tap a gate for the effect, say I have 2, does it deal 1 for each (total of 2) enchantment? {Crackling Perimeter}

No, it is an activated ability(rather than a triggered one). You may only tap the gate for the effect of one of the perimeters, you cannot activate both with a single gate.

Edit: basically more than one is simply redundant
