It does have a sideboard to stop flying, artifacts, and graveyard actions such as flashback and things like {boneyard wurm}

I suggest running {Untamed Might} over {Wild Hunger}

I play such a deck too and suggest a few {inkmorth Nexus}, a {phyrexian swarmlord} , a {melira , sylvok Outcast} which Boosts the Hydra and a few {Green suns zenit}

I recommend running 4 {titanic growth}s.
By far the best addition to my infect deck.
Attacking with a 2/2 they go "I don't want to lose my flying attacker" so they let it thru, you drop 1 (or 2) of those on and it's game

Yeah my best starts usually start with glistener elf. Most people will just let him thru for his first attack (turn 2) and try to figure out how to deal with him. I then pump him with a titanic growth for 5 poison counters, even more if I have a mutagenic growth in hand too. If they block (were able to put down a first round cheapie too), he probably dies and then I drop another infect cheapie and try again.

4x {plague myr}
4x {blight mamba}
4x {rot wolf}
4x {core prowler}
4x {titanic growth}
4x {mutagenic growth}
4x {hunger of the howlpack}

Then fill the rest with things like the a swarm lord and more buffs.
Also things like {contagion clasp} and {contagion engine} are great if you have any problems after you get some through, you can just sit back and proliferate for the final blow.
