In highschool I liked to read the smaller books so I could blitz through them in study halls, and I started reading the warriors by Erin hunter. After reading redwall and the numerous books after it in elementary/middle school it was very nostalgic, I'm glad kids are getting such great material, and I'm honestly surprised how much emotion and action the authors fit into a series about cats living in the forest haha. Now that I'm thinking about it, Brian Jacques universe would make awesome mtg plane..

Awesome series Redwall, I totally agree with you on the plane thing, another good series by Brian Jacques is castaways of the Flying Dutchman

I spent soo much of my childhood reading and re-reading those books, such a phenomenal series!

On a seperate note, who else though they royally screwed the Harry potter
Movies? Daniel Radcliffe is a great actor, but he honestly ruined the character of Harry for

Harry Potter books have their own charm, you can compare it to Hobbit, but Lord of the Rings is Fantasy with big "F". Sir J.R.R. Toliken created something that have not been created before... World with its own mythology, languages and nations...

Every real fantasy fan read it multiple times and not only Lotr triology but also Silmarilion and Tolkien's tales and unfinished stories...

I got through Silmarillion  and some of the unfinished stories but I might have to disagree with Whitedrake 🙊. I felt like any of Tolkien's posthumous work was like those pickled peppers they sometimes put in with your pizza. Personally I eat em, but I realize most people wouldn't like em.

I'm on the same lines as you, I'm rereading "Ready Player One" and I just start crying from joy every time I continue reading.

My brother just finished reading that, I've read the first chapter and loved it, I plan on borrowing the book and reading the whole thing next time I see him.

Yeah Silmarilion is not exactly "light" to read... But that's because it was written as an epos not novel... It is like to read Iliad and Odyssey...

I do not know many people who really liked it...

Amazing. I even read the shadow books that follow bean. My favorite collection of books I've been meaning to reread the two after speaker for the dead.
