All-Mana Mania

Ok guys i'm back again with another deck tech for you wonderful people. Today i will be showing a Junk Reanimator deck. Kinda the same build as a guy from Star City Games Opens in Seattle, but it has a little remix about it. Let me get into the details.

          Junk Reanimator- All-Mana Mania
Lands:
6  {Forest}
3  {Plains}
4 {Overgrown Tomb}
3 {Woodland Cemetary}
2 {Godless Shrine}
1 {Sunpetal Grove}
1 {Gavony Township}
1 {Isolated Chapel}
2 {Cavern of Souls}

Now let us get in depth with the mana base:

THE SHOCKS- The shock lands are valuable lands in mostly any deck. They give you a chance to get a {B}, {W} or {G}. You need these for some great mana editing.

The Buddy Lands- These are great for turn two. Because you would hopefully have out a {B} {G} or {W} land out so then the buddy land can come in without being tapped.

Gavony Township- This crd is pure pounding and going for the game finisher.

Cavern of Souls- You really need these for the mana fixing. In this deck i would usually say "angel" or " ooze" but they are great in all decks.

Next we have are the creatures. Now you might see something strange but that is what makes this deck different than the other normal Reanimator decks. Let's just jump right into it.

Creatures:
2 {Angel of Serenity}
2 {Trostani, Selesnya's Voice}
2 {Obzedat, Ghost Council}
2 {Lotleth Troll}
1 {Griselbrand}
2 {Craterhoof Behemoth}
3 {Arbor Elf}
3 {Avacyn's Pilgrim}
2 {Acidic Slime}

Now let's look at some key creatures for this build:

Griselbrand (Grizzly Bear)- Now 4 {B} mana?? Yea right!! I would never play that. That is what some people say. The point for this to work is to get him into the graveyard from your mulch's and grisly salvages. He is a bomb for only 1 unburial rights.

Angel of Serenity- She is an awesome card to take away his big creatures, also to get creatures back from your graveyard!! Also she is an awesome bomb to play. I sometimes play her from my hand but i usually do it from the graveyard.

Craterhoof Behemoth- THIS GUYS IS REDICULOUS IN REANIMATOR!! It is crazy when you play him with 20 creatures on the battlefield. Play him from the graveyard.

Next we are onto the spells. The spells are sorta the same as the clíche reanimator decks. Let's just get started.

Spells:
4 {Grisly Salvage}
4 {Mulch}
2 {Abrupt Decay}
4 {Unburial Rites}
3 {Lingering Souls}
1 {Garruk Relentless}

Now let's talk about the key cards from the spells section:

Unburial Rutes- This is the key card for reanimator decks. You get to bring ANY creature back from the graveyard to the battlefield for {B} {4}?!?! Even with a flashback cost of {W}{3}?!?! Just ridiculous!!

"The discard cards"- Mulch and Grisly salvage. You need these to discard your big bomb creatures like Craterhoof, Grizzly Bear and angle of serenity. These are a valuable resource in a reanimator deck.

Well those are all the key cards in the spells section. Finally, we are onto the sideboard.

Reanimator Sideboard:
2 {Deathrite Shaman}
1 {Acidic Slime}
1 {Garruk Relentless}
1 {Vault of the Archangel}
2 {Disciple of Bolas}
1 {Avacyn's Pilgrim}
1 {Sever the Bloodline}

Now let's us take a look at the gameplan for sideboard switching.

Sideboard Switchings:
Control: Keep
Aggro: Deathrites for Acidic Slimes
Enchantment: 1 Acidic Slime Trostani
Reanitmator: deathrite for lotleth
Wolf Run Bant: Acidic slime for trostani

Well, that is all I have for the Deck Tech "Junk Rites" I hope you guys enjoyed and were interested. Thanks for reading guys!!!

Why do I never see {treasure find} in reanimator, I always think it would beneficial if you were to self mill something important.

Yea but i mean we want to return it staright from the graveyard to the battlefield

Byerley121

They have {Obzedat's Aid} for that. Reanimating  {Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker} will be abused.

Might see play after {unburial rites} is gone. That's what I plan to experiment with after rotation.

im talking about milling a reanimator spell, not the creature itself. or to save on flashbacking a spell, draw it again with treasure find, cast it, then flashback and exile {unburial rites}

It reallydoesnt matter if we mill rites. Because we usually have only 4-5 big creatures to reanimate in your graveyard. I think right now its a waste of space. Once rotation switches then i may test it

Went 2-2 on the night. The weakness of this deck:
• Olivia Voldaren, she took my turn 4 grizzly bear away from me :(
• invisible stalker, he buffed him so much that i would have never won.

For olivia you want a vraska in that deck, and probably for invisible stalker too.

Slenderbro

For this in my opinion you shouldnt have trostani, for she isnt being used to her full potential in a reanimator.
