Wouldn't work I'm afraid. The spike only kicks in for combat damage, which does not include Hidegetsu's activated ability.

It wouldn't since the damage {Heartless Hidetsugu}'s ability causes isn't combat damage, which is what triggers {Quietus Spike}'s ability.
