My deck is soon to be outdated. But all tournaments I remember are standard format

Innistrad is legal until october 1

Gorzo

Innistrad will be legal forever and always in modern. In Modern, 8th Edition and newer are legal. Or did you mean to post this in standard? I can move it to the correct forum for you if you posted this here by mistake.

FaZeNero

No I meant to in this forum. I am new to magic it's really fun but I don't want to go buy another deck if it will be outdated. I can't compete in FNM. With modern decks so what can I do with them?

Gorzo

Modern decks keep all cards legal from 8th edition and newer, and sets will never rotate out, so you don't have to worry about a set no longer being usable like in standard. Check out the sticky up top about the modern format rules and the list of banned cards!

Although there are quite a lot of bans, and we get more yearly. But if your not a netdecker the format is really fun for a creative mind! The netdecks are actually pretty sweet though, I prefer my {U}{B} Mill though

to Eric: do not be so hateful... Some people like to get inspired by decks that are on the internet... Do not tell me that all your decks are 100% home brews... In few cases it is almost impossible...;)

If yoi do not want to spend money on cards continiously then do not play standard at all, make some solid modern deck that will be cheap and easy to upkeep ( possibly comstruction price will be a little higher than in case of standard deck ).

There is a lot of nice competitive modern decks...;)
