The results are in, and they're crazy close!

Land beat out Enchantment by an amazingly slim margin, so WotC decided to pit the two card types against each other in another vote!

On this thread, post which one you're voting for (or voting for again, be it the case) AND a design of what you'd want to see that card look like and do.

EXAMPLE 1:
Land

Legendary Land

{T}: Add {1} to your mana pool.

{T}, put an instant or sorcery spell in your hand on top of your library: Add {X} to your mana pool, where X is that spell's converted mana cost.

EXAMPLE 2:
Enchantment

{W}
Enchantment- Aura

Enchant Creature

Enchanted creature gets +0/+2 and vigilance.

When CARDNAME is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, return CARDNAME to its owner's hand.

That enchantment is actually a really good idea. An anti-rancor lol

Birdbrain

Land

Aether plane

Legendary land

CARDNAME comes into play tapped

{T}{2}: all lands you control become a 1/1 elemental creature who's color is equal to the color of mana it would provide untill the end of the turn. Those creatures have haste

{T}: add 1 mana of any color to your mana pool. Put a 1/1 elemental creature of the choosen color in play under target opponents control

Enchantment. Think about it. Lands can only do a few things without getting nerfed really badly:
-fix mana
-fetch lands
-small utility (see {Moorland Haunt})
The You Design won't mean we get a crazy good land card if we pick land. Land doesn't have a mana cost, so it is really, really easily nerfed to compensate. There are benefits to picking enchantments:
Enchantments do more
-become creatures
-draw you cards {Rhystic Study}
-Protect you {Lightmine Field}
Enchantments are versatile enough that they can just do so much. We have so many more options if we pick enchantment that it blows land out of the water.
Additionally, the fact that enchantments have a mana cost means that our enchantment can have a really cool and fun ability, and WotC won't feel like it's too broken due to the fact that they can change it's mana cost.
A vote for enchantment is truly the way to go.

If you pick land you truly are just copping out. What could you possibly want to do with a land that doesnt involve ruining the game. Cmon.

Well that's a tad bit harsh.
