I love giant adephage... its good in the monsters deck. I personally play a playset in my modern mana ramp deck

Went to one last week, lost to goddamn {{Giant Adephage}} when I kept a hand with Melira, VoR, Kitchen Finks, BoP, and three land, then did not see one of three sac outlets, 4 Birthing Pods, or 3 chord of callings over the next seven turns and then lost again after again, not seeing Pod or Chord and not being able to find combo pieces...after that I proceeded to trash Living End and Vampires, before losing a close match to UWR control. Still GIANT ADEPHAGE *head desks*

...wut. Is there a good way to play that card?  Aside from having your opponent not draw anything, that is

Went to Wednesday modern last night and
4-0'd with Kiki-Pod.

Round 1 win 2-1 mono green belcher
Game 1 he mans ramps like a crazy with the defender wall mana maker. And kills me with char belcher. Game 2 he gets shut down by aven minds censor and linvala. Game three I combo out turn 4.

Round 2 win 2-0 rwu midrange
Win with the combo after he taps out to play Geist. Game 2 turn 3 thrun he can't recover from.

Round three 2-0 rwu mana ramp into some enchantment combo. Game 1 combo kill and game  2 he played a turn three blood moon :/ good thing I had conscripts and Kiki in hand. Turn 4 chalice on 2 to keep from digging, turn 5 conscripts , turn 6 Kiki win.

I went 5-1 with my humans deck. Got Darien out against a guy still playing his torn deck. Took one hit from an eldrazi and just swarmed him to death

8th place at first GPT, 40 people. I defeated living end, gifts, and Naya midrange. Almost to black white token and Zoo. Lost to twin in the final, never saw pod in 3 games.

Congrats. What deck? GPTs are really fun, js.

We have a proxied one but it would be nice to actually have the lists to play with.
