Need answers... Plz

K. Iv been playing magic for along time and have never had a lot of ppl to play with so we only played with regular decks.. So my questions is what are the other styles of decks and what are there rules for playing with them.. And I guess also how do they differ from play with a 40-75 card deck with max of 4 cards of same name except basic lands.?

There is EDH, you have to have 100 card deck with only one copy of any card( except basic land) you a commander which is a legandary creature, and the colours of the commander are the only colours, you are aloud in the deck,

If you look at the DECKS section in the main menu (ie. standard, modern, legacy, commander, etc.), for whatever format you look at, there is a rules section at the top of the page. That should answer any questions you have regarding format.
