Epic Izzet Kill

Me and my freind played yesterday and he got so mad at me.By the end of the game he cast a  {Consuming Aberration} and my Library was so big(56 cards).When he cast the  {Consuming Aberration}I had four mana available so I cast an  {Essence Backlash} for 54 damage to his 15 life and sadly he did not have enough mana for his  {Psychic Strike} in hand.So he threw his cards on the table and left.

 {Consuming Aberration} is based on graveyard though..? I'll assume that's what you meant though, in which case it's pretty cool. However I'm thinking his power may have been 0 since he wasn't on field upon re-checking..

Nope,I checked  {Consuming Aberration} does not have the "enters the battlefeild with X +1/+1 counters on it for each card in your opponents graveyard" thus {Consuming Aberration} was already 54/54.

I guess {Essence Backlash} could be used as a very lethal weapon against Black/Blue mill,and other decks running big creatures.

Doesnt work... The creature is a */* until it successfully resolves. That means it is a 0/0 as far as {essance backlash} is concerned.

Wow, i havent seen that ruling on * before. I apparently got too use to undefined being 0 until otherwise defined. Thats gross. Thank you

By the way do you think  {Psychic Spiral} would also work as an alternative way of destroying {B}{U} mill by means counter mill.

x4 serene remeberance
And then whatever else you want.
1. You play enter the infinite and put back any card.
2. You then draw your last card or if the try to mill you use serene rememberance then.
3. If you draw your last card you {serene rememberance} serene rememberance and something else and then psychic spiral him

4  {Forest}, {Island},and {Mountain}
