Obligation to clarify the Ericlay95 issue

I wanted to clarify this so everyone could see it and it did not get buried in the other thread.

As well all know by now, Ericlay94/Ericlay95 (same person) came back to the forum after MANY WEEKS of people never receiving their cards or him even coming on the the forum. He said he was lazy and whatnot and that his parents thought he was stealing, but that wasnt the case.

He did not come back on his own free will because he just decided to. I wanted to make people aware of that.

I was one of the people he was basically stealing from since he never sent his end of the trade we made. He said he was lazy, which is unacceptable in its own right, but he also told me weeks prior that he had sent out the card. He obviously never did, therefore lying about the trade which makes me feel like he was trying to steal from everyone. If he was just lazy, he shouldnt have lied to begin with.

Anyway, the reason he came back was his mother was contacted personally and told what happened, hence why he came on here saying his parents thought he was stealing.

I honestly dont care if he stays on here and continues trading with the community, but he HAS to send his end first or should not be trusted. I would make no exception to that. I dont want to come on here reaming somebody out but what happened should have never occurred and I should never have had to contact his household like I did. I dont like doing that. I dont want to do that, but I had no other choice. I didnt want to see myself or so many people get screwed over as that was unacceptable.

As another note, I never even received the trade, just my own cards back. That was fine so I didnt get screwed money-wise, but he never honored the trade either.

We, as a community, need to let people know its not okay to jerk people around or screw them over. That was done in this case. I know some people got their cards back already and some are still waiting for their cards. I hope they get them and Ericlay does the honorable thing.

Despite the sensitive nature of that post i commend you for your maturity and professionalism in your actions and choice of words. I did see this as a service to the community rather than reaming another poster.

Same here. I think this will be a good wake up call. For not just him, but others. It sucks that it seems like some veteran traders have turned rogue. And this Eric issue is surprising because he requested a trade with myself not too long ago. So I do think you've done a service to this community.

Ill be happy with my Tamiyo watery grave and glacial fortress back he can keep the zen lands. But I too would rather have the cards promised in the trade. Hope I get something back at least. i also feel bad cause I vouched for him cause almost a year or so ago I had successfull trades with him.

Exact same position as me, just with different cards.  I traded with him forever ago and it went fine.
