I wouldn't because I'd be worried about what you thought that meant and what everyone else would think that meant and then I'd also worry that maybe somebody else would wish I had asked them and panick and decide to just shove it off till the last second and end up going alone. Or I'd be matchmaker'd with somebody that didn't really want to hang out with me. Then I'd have nobody to hang out with and the music would probably suck so I'd just do my usual thing of being on the outside of it all and feeling really alone. Then I'd get home, blast Tears Into Wine by Billy Talent and try to suppress the memories.

True story.

Bringing this back cause I was looking for something and found this instead.

I asked someone to grad. She's the sister of a friend, she really became my friend when I started going to school as we started hanging out and playing League.

I was thinking about asking her but I couldn't figure out how or when (read above and) because we both just went through awful relationships ending in major betrays of trust and backstabbing (us being the victims) and neither of us are looking for something romantic, just going as friends. But a deadline approached so I took her out for lunch. But she didn't want anything. So it was even more awkward than just me being awkward. But she said yes.

And now everyone thinks we're constantly making out or more.

I hate people.
