Looking for modern things that are easy to sell.
Electronics is usually a pretty good area.

If you see something, and it's good, does it get that status since you saw it, or was it good before?

Test

To answer this question you could use the logic of quantum physics and the uncertainty principle. Think about what you know about location of electron, and whether it is a wave or particle?

Test

You could go the other way and think about the relativity of observer and what it means for relativity of time, past and present.

Kaylesh

You refer to the objective attributes. Good is a quality you attribute to something subjectively. Taking into consideration that this attribute doesn't change when you don't observe it, actual changes in the object itself in the period you do not observe it, fail to alter your perspective of it.

Quite easy.
Say you're having a flat at the side of the road. No jack, no cellphone. Guy stops, assist you. Nice guy, to your observation.
Unbeknownst to you, he proceeds on his way home to beat his girl senseless because the beer is too cold, or whatnot. As long as you don't learn of this, he'll remain "good", a nice guy.

No speed is not objective. Time does not really exist too.

Apathy Reactor

I hate quantum physics metaphors.

Piotr

I used to too, until I roughly understood WTF.

"Time does not really exist"

That always gets me. While we may have made up our measurement of it, human beings are only able to progress forwards. While it may be relative it's still very much something that we are bound by.

Piotr

Time is our perception of the order of change. It foes not exist for real ;]

Apathy Reactor

Do you trust the chemicals in your brain to tell you they are chemicals?

Apathy Reactor

Everything is real, but it's also just as fake.

"I think, therefore I am."

We know nothing that we can't perceive. I have yet to see solid evidence that time does not exist, I perceive that it does. So for now I'm inclined to continue to think that it does.

I don't believe in the Big Bang. As far as I'm aware it's impossible to have infinite gravity without infinite mass, which seems rather nonsensical to me. :P
