Eh, they're kids. You just gotta bear in mind that their bodies and organs aren't fully developed, and that includes their brains. They'll grow out of it.

As a teacher, I've realized they never grow out of it haha.

As a fellow teacher, it is our jobs to help them grow out of it.

Solidarity my peers. I am working in the first and second grade. We practice eye contact, polite responses, and resolving our problems using constructive comments.

And not eating our textbooks. That's important, too.

I may live I a sheltered community but over here the mtg guys are 95% rad and only 5% duche.

Oh I definitely agree with ur percentage guess...;) most people I met were or are great guys including most of the people here...:D

Sometimes, I wonder... Do some adults grow out it? I've seen a lot of these antics from people in the military also, which I think is very sad for the organization....

Sometimes adults don't grow out of it, and absolutely should know better. My whole point was to not so easily dismiss kids just on the premise of them being young. Give them the benefit of the doubt.

Well I'm told that men grow up to about 8th year of their life, then they only grow bigger. Based on yours truly, very true.

Cockatrice has too many people that want to test seriously, but are too stingy to use MODO.

I just want to say one thing about "net decking".  I used to do everything I could to avoid the practice, but at some point I was realizing that I had to intentionally not include good cards/card interactions simply to retain my originality. I still try to avoid the "top deck," and I wouldn't copy someone's list card for card, but if I'm going to pay to play I'd like to win. It's fine and awesome to brew, but getting ideas from pro level decks can be a good idea too.  Personally, I keep a competitive deck and a brew deck for casual play.
I know what you mean...I used to avoid running {Thragtusk} for pretty much the same reason but then I just said "f it..." And slapped 4 of the suckers in my deck. Lol I actually cannot wait until it rotates!

 Wasn't expecting that!  It really struck me as funny for some reason!  +1 to you, Langku! 

Wally, fact is funnier than fiction. It's been an uphill battle with one of my 7 year old scholars.  He's been eating school supplies, primarily pages from books and tablets. Just keep him away from my card binders... That'd be like a smorgasbord for this kid.

Nissassagame

Speaking of doochery.....when an opponent cheats. Even worse when it's an adult! Makes me mad!

Freerthanu

What you should do if someone is rude an insults you in a sanctioned match is simply call a judge, even if they don't get a warning, this usually upsets them enough to stop talking and go on tilt.

Speaking of d00shery. At FNM last night, a guy tried to steal a {temple garden} and {deathrite shaman} from me. What happened was he {nightveil specter}'d both cards round three and after it was over, shuffled everything into his library. I told him, in a nice manner, that I needed my cards back. He argued with me saying he did give them back until I counted out that I had 58 cards in my deck. He was acting shady about the whole thing, so I warned his next opponent on the sly.

That's not d00shery that's robbery... That kind of person would be expelled from our playgroup immediately if he did that on purpose...

Gorzo

Yeah, that's pretty bad. If it were a simple mistake it'd be one thing, but once you say "hey you still have my cards" and he says no without even looking, yeah, that dingus is a thief. That's a good way to get banned from your LGS.

I'd be really pissed. I'd have warned everyone, not just his next opponent. Some guy at our LGS tried to steal from someone and when he got called out he ditched the stolen cards in the bathroom.

In hindsight I should've gone to a higher authority. Definitely will be doing that next time it happens.
