Hey everyone. How does this sound for a theme for a mario level...skydiving! You spend the whole level climbing higher and higher. Than take a leap of faith and free fall to land shortly away from the goal. I just designed a level like this in a mario game I'm designing with a mario game maker

Edit: it uses distance. Not a big wall

Doom is also a favorite; I haven't played the BFG edition yet; any doom for life folk played it yet? Anyone witha 3d tv?

Game series I've enjoyed and still enjoy: Super Mario series, Super Smash, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Doom, KoTOR, Half-Life, Portal, Minecraft and Timesplitters.

But the game that gets most of my attention now is Guild Wars 2.

I just picked up a copy of Pokemon Silver the other day at a local game store and saw that on the shelf!!! I actually had about a 10 minute discussion with one of my buddies who works there about it, and he said it was everything that Doom 3 was, and highly recommends it if I liked the original. I'm just stoked to get another Nightmare Playthrough in and actually get achievements for it this time!!!! So sick!!!!

I've been a gamer my entire life, even my earliest memories involve watching my big brother playing Zelda and Mario on the NES, I grew up on 64 games though. The Nintendo 64 is and always will be my favorite system. And my favorite video game ever is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The Elder Scrolls series, especially Morrowind (Or better off, my entire middle school years) are amazing as well. I just love Video Games, I plan on creating my own eventually, I've actually been going to school for video game design and Programming for about 3 years now. Video Games are my life.
