I generally operate on the principle that TCG low by definition is how much I can get a card for at any given time by simply going to TCGplayer. Therefore, I have no incentive to do business with anyone else unless the deal is the same or better. Obviously condition of cards needs to be considered as well but you can filter that at TCGplayer. When I sell cards I always sell at slightly less than TCG low price, otherwise what incentive does anyone have to do business with me instead of an actual company that has a better reputation and is more trustworthy to the average customer? When trading it doesnt matter to me what we use, as long as both sides use the same benchmark.

And while we are on the topic, i really dont care if im getting $47 worth of cards and you are getting $51 worth of cards. If we are both getting what we want and it works out in the same neighbourhood im happy. And if it bothers you that much then next time we trade you can let me have a slightly better deal. As long as no one is getting ripped off its all fine woth me. There is no need to throw in a handful of basic lands to get the deal 'even' :)

Shipping is the incentive and generally play.

I would rarely - never sell below tcg low
Tcg low is the lowest I would sell, especially in person

True, but if you are in america it is rare that the difference in shipping will be anything more than negligible. And the higher the value of cards the less impact shipping has. I just think that to get me to deviate from a store you need to give me a reason to. Which is why i sell at slightly below tcg low. Gives the other person a deal, otherwise they would be better off shopping at a store, where they are guaranteed to get what they pay for, one way or another.

But stores usually sell at tcg mid or higher.

Plus I've heard when you buy at tcg low generally you have no idea what quality your getting

I mean I've heard you can get some sweet deals but.. It's risky.

No where other than tcg sells at tcg low if they are one of the more valued stores and their reputation precedes that.

But you know what your getting. Plus generally most stores charge more for shipping than it actually costs to ship something.

And if you PayPal me, you literally have nothing in shipping.

Also, my incentive is my word. You confirm your buying from me, I lock the price immediately, there is no need to worry about price fluctuation when your still working out the deal.

That's why I have an incredible amount of repeat customers.

I've sold over khans 60 fetches in the last 2 months.

I'm meeting a dude wed and thurs to pick up another batch of money from
2 guys who have bought a full set.

But I didn't make make them pay me the full amount up front. And I locked the price for them.

Im not saying your way is bad in any way, im just saying I prefer my method when it comes to selling, and when it comes to buying chances are I will find a better deal somewhere else. In which case I will take it, but that doesnt reflect on you in any way.
