Wrath of God, Day of Judgement

My friend said that I can't cast creatures after I cast day of judgment or wrath of god. Can I cast a creature still after the spell resolves because it doesn't say you can't for the rest of the turn? {Wrath of God}  {Day of Judgment}

There is absolutely nothing stopping you from casting a creature spell after a wrath, as those spells only effect what is on the field when cast
