I see a new place.
Friends go to a new place. maybe some old planeswalkers. chandra? garruk? ajani? with Swords, shields, war, slaves, darkness and more. Then i say there becomes too bad of a war and stuff here and there. The city is destroyed ruins and everything. There are a still a lot if people living. Third set is they start heading out to find new shelter. Camps for days and possibly finds this secret temple/cathedral/castle and then the final battle commences and after that the set would end.

What is steam punk?

victorian-esqe futurism. Everything looks/is described like it was made between the industrial revolution and World War One. It's also saturated (at least in some areas) with British culture.

The time machine by H.G wells is an example of steampunk. And Jewels Vern's 20,000 leagues under the sea was early steam punk as well.

I could come up with other examples, but I'd be going on and on for pages. Lol

I think it would be cool to do an Ice Age-esque block next. Not necessarily exactly like Ice Age. Just a more primitive block. We're on Ravnica now, which is a largely populated city the size of the plane itself. It would be sweet if the next one was densely populated. Very small tribes and even outcasts or individuals living out in the wild. Innistrad struck me as being a very basic block in the feel of things. Well I'd like to go even more basic than that.

MaRo confirmed long ago that the "Friends" block will be something completely new.  As to what it is... I really want to see a plane subject to hyperevolution, but I doubt that will happen because of the Simic in Ravnica.  Your guess is as good as mine.
