Is any damage delt by a creature in the combat phase combat damage. For example useing lobber crews tap ability during the combat phase. {Lobber Crew}

Only damage dealt by creatures as a result of attacking, in direct relation to that creatures power/toughness is combat damage. If you tapped {Lobber Crew} during the comba step to use its ability, it does not count as combat damage.

Unfortunately, no. As CV stated, it would not count as combat damage, and would not trigger an encoded effect.
