I am putting together a deck and I was thinking about the interaction between {Mirrorweave} and {Laquatus's Champion}. Say I have a champion in play and I targeted myself to lose 6 life initially. Now, if someone destroys all creatures with a {Wrath of God} effect, and I respond by making all of the creatures copies of the Champion with Mirrorweave, will I gain 6 life for each dead creautre?  I think I would.

Posibly I'll look into it to give u a hand

In my opinion and experience and without checking any rulings: yeah, that would work! Purely due to the way 'the stack' works, Wrath would be cast, then Mirror weave is cast. Mirrorweave resolves first, then Wrath and BAM, heaps of gains 6 life cones your way! 

Thank you Spikepit, but it is more a question of whether the "that player" is a copiable characteristic. All the other creatures are already in play and never went through the "when THIS CREATURE comes into play chose a player" step. Would the Mirrorweave copy the original Champion's choice of players, or would none of them have a player?

I reckon it would still work. They become a direct copy of a card in its entirety, card text and abilities and all, I'd say so. 😊

But I will ask my friend, he is much more knowledgable in the game of magic. ðŸ'

Thank you from enlisting some help. That was a tricky one!
