Keep it PG-9. Misogyny is uncalled for. And yes, I guess I'm young. 16, junior in high school. but you may understand that I'm not a mindless jock of any sort, and very much so value being in a loving.

I did not feel like I was expressing misogyny... regardless, I'll be more careful with what I post in the future. Meant no offense towards anybody!

You did. DC edited accordingly to make it PG friendly. I just happened to see it before he did.

My girlfriend plays Magic with me. I actually had no intention of teaching her at first, but she kept asking so finally I made a couple basic decks and showed her the ropes. She caught on extremely fast and now she pilots a W/R Boros humans that she actually helped me make with perma-steal and perma-exile via {Cloudshift}. I guess it helps that she's a pretty big closet nerd, she played WoW since the beginning and kinda stopped about a year ago. She's able to beat my ass on the regular which I'm happy with, I can actually playtest with a real opponent! Lol

That's another good reason for magic girls. Consistent play test partners. I scarcely get those since I moved; I used to play with my best bud who lived in my duplex.

I'm a girl and I play magic. My boyfriend is one of the ones who got me into it BUT that was long before we stated dating. We play all the time and attend fnms and tournaments together. It's our "thing". I see nothing wrong with a young guy trying to find a partner with similar interests and I disagree that people should keep their significant others separate from their hobbies.

Agreed, there isn't much I don't do with my lady

Mhmm my wife forced me to teach her the game... And forcing me to play with her...:) She is not enough skilled to build decks alone yet but pretty good in beating me...:D

Couldn't agree more. They say "opposites attract," but the truth is that similar interests are what build lasting and meaningful relationships. A hobby in common is a bond that brings you closer.

From Moneekkah's post down: yes.

I'll come back to this and give you karma after I post ten more times.

Jesus....
Allow me to rephrase...

You are very young. Can I suggest you sow your wild oats before attempting to find true love.

Is that 'politically correct' enough to skirt the Draconians?

Pro tip: Don't actually sow any oats!
Paying wheat-support to "mother earth" is quite a burden! ;D
