I can't decide on which is better, what do you guys think?

{Vines of Vastwood} or {Ranger's Guile}???

NyghtHawk

Vines if your running only one set of cards.

Depends on the situation really, but the +4/+4 kicker is pretty nice for an extra mana

That's what I was thinking, I just need some protection for my guys in my Modern Elves, if I can dodge a little more removal it will help a lot, and the pump is nice.

Actually now that I think about it, vines is the easy choice here. Forget the other one

It depends how big your guys are. Lifegain is awesome

Anyone mind lending some trimming advice? I'm trying to fit in 3 {Vines of Vastwood} mainboard and can't figure out the last 2 cards to cut, it's in Modern under "InfinitiveElves".

Vines seems like the obvious choice for me. In essence, it's a  {Titanic Growth} with more bang for your buck (mana).

MisterJH

Definitely go vines if pump isnt your priority, and all you need is protection.. Offers protection and a 1 mana 4/4 so its why you want and way more

Nobody was talking about that card?
I think he was just trying to suggest another card to give hexproof.

And I'd definitely go with the vines. Compared to the other card, it essentially has a {Giant Growth} attached to it.

Quisequise

If probably go vines, I feel that +4/+4is just too good to pass up.

Coffee Vampire

I agree. The only advantage to guile is 1 mana less. But since you are playing elves, I am guessing you are in no shortage of mana! ;)
