Ryn'an's Beginnings- A New Set Made by US :)

So I already have an idea for the story of this block, but only a full story for the first set. Post ideas for cards below, and I put some of them in. Most of it will be created by me, though.

The one planeswalker on Earth, Rizyx, found a contraption (not yet decided) that allowed him to create a new plane. He starts creating his perfect world, but discovers 10 divine beings on it, just after he finished placing creatures throughout the plane- Chaos, Disease, Greed, Dictatorship, and MAdness (BAD) + Zeal, Growth, Ambition, Order, and Knowlede (GOOD).  I haven't decided on much more, other than that in this set, they aren't very powerful, but in the next set, they are huge and fight for control. I suck at creating not-big-effect cards (or "good" cards), so I need iMtg to help me with commons and uncommons- I'll do the more important stuff to the story.

Tell me if you like it, and post suggestions for Commons and Uncommons below.

EDIT: I changed what Adapt does, I found this seems more fitting to the story.

Adapt X (When ~ enters the battlefield, choose a Habitat you control at random. ~ inhabits it. ~ gets +X/+X for each Change counter on its Habitat.)

Creating Commons and Uncommons can be hard, it took me an entire year to get to where I am today. I might throw down on a few cards for you though, I got really good with wording, I'd like I see what I can do with a card that has no limitations (I.E. A nonOoT card)

Is the Plane itself a newborn? Is there still seismic activity and volcanic eruptions, semi-warm waters? And can the Plane itself create it's own creatures or is the PW the only one with the power or creation?

good question, didn't think of that. and thanks ^ by the way. i think it would be with volcanic stuff like you said, but creatures would kinda adapt as the environment of a specific spot settled, and then once that spot got to "cooled off point" then the creatures would stop changing. (i'll need to think of a mechanic for that) i think creatures should just kinda pop up when the enviroment is ready, so no, the planewalker isnt the only one who can create.

Ok the main mechanic is Adapt. 1st off, all basic lands are labeled habitat in this set. Adapt: When this creature enters the battlefield, put one Change counter on every Habitat you control. Then "Pair" this creature to target Habitat you control. Remove one counter from each Habitat on each of your upkeeps. This creature gets -1/-1 for each Change counter on its land.

Every basic land in the set is labelled habitat, no multicolor lands are going to me made until the next one, and Adapt probably isnt going into that.

{T}, discard a card from your hand: search your library for a basic land card, reveal it, and add it to your hand. Shuffle your library afterward.

{T}: add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Draw a card, discard a card.
