Maybe just their name and like city and state or something. Doesn't have to be the full address.

I don't see what stops them from using a fake name or a friends address.

This is also true. But as Piotr said in another thread where I suggested this, countries have laws to protect people's identities and personal information from being shared without consent. Even thieves. So the idea is a no-go anyways.

I think if all the people that got ripped off by this person call the police in his city, and give name and address, and value of cards, something will happen.  He screwed a lot of people over.  I'm deffinately calling the police there, and at the least I want a report filed, and an Internet scam investigation.

I believe that this is the best/smartest course of action at this point. At the very least, the local police in his area can advise you on on the best course of action to take next. They hate thieves too, after all, and will try to help you if they can. And you can trust them to tell it to you straight.

Please let us know what they say to do.

Internet Fraud can bring on harsher charges. That would be the real way to pursue the person. Multiple people reporting on the same person will increase your chances.

I just know some departmens are not big enough to deal with scam artists and low level criminals.

That's exactly what I am talking about... U should definitely try to contact each other sum the damage and report it together... Authorities should listen to that...

So I think he moved... I sent out a card late and I just got it back saying that it couldn't be delivered as addressed and was unable to be forwarded.
