Ha, the majority of our card nicknames are really dumb inside jokes.

{Avatar of Woe} though is Gaga, Bitch Queen of Black. My friend saw the card and thought of Lady Gaga, and the rest of the nickname fell in line.

We've also nicknamed Selesyna as Selesbia, all members are known as Selesbians, and  {Trostani, Selesnya's Voice} is known as the Tri-Poly Lesbian. My friends and I are rather dumb, ha.

I was running a zombie Commander deck at a tournament and when I played "Grimoire of the Dead" I called it "Zombie Cookbook", everyone seemed to enjoy it.

My friend plays blue above all else, he can run any deck like a pro and his tactical skill is nearly unparalleled. Because of his "control issues", as we have dubbed his play style, and his uncanny ability to know what you have to play and exactly how to deal with it in any situation his catch phrase became "made em waist it!" he would shout this whenever he could counter a key spell or make his oponent do something unnesicary thanks to his untapped blue mana bluff that could make any player second guess casting. soon, the entire magic shop was using this line and when you lost to a control deck you had been waisted. XD we no longer have counter spells here, nor control decks. We have nothing but waisted players. Lol!
