Johnny Cash is an exception for me.  I can't stand a lot of the newer country stuff, but I do enjoy listening to Johnny Cash every once in a while

Hank I and III (don't care for Jr. all that much,) Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, the Highwaymen. There's some great country out there. I just hate this "country rock" or "country pop" or whatever you want to call it thats so prevalent right now.

That's because your a hardheaded purist who likes nothing more than 3 genres, sorry to say. We've already had this conversation and you've already given your opinion on "good" music.
Not to say I don't agree with you on the bands that you like, I love all types of music though.
