Not talking about the tournaments but jesus h frack! All these amazing cards being spoiled and you cant get them!
I lose all enthusiasm for getting magic products in times like this because i cant get those awesome goodies!

Not really the point of my rant but:
Magic pet peeves thread!

Casual friend almost bends your cards when checking them out when playing.

I hate spoiler season because you know what to look for at pre-release. Nothing is a surprise. Takes a lot of the fun out it, and causes disappointment if you don't get what you're chasing.

Also a pet peeve of mine is people grabbing my stuff without asking. I know its legal to look at the opponent's graveyard at anytime, but be considerate and ask first.

Im pretty ok with my graveyard as long as they're not too rough (as stated in the op...) Also im pretty cool about spells on the stack. Same non violence policy still applies.
But when people just reach over and grab a creature or something without asking it really grinds my gear...

If its a younger person or newer person, ill be nice and inform them that its a better idea to ask first. If its someone that I know should know better, I won't be as nice. It's more of a trust issue so my cards don't get jacked, because I've seen that happen before.

I hate it when experienced players try to act like it's an inconvenience to play me. I just switched my LGS about 3 months ago, and at this point everyone knows me. But I remember starting there and a few guys would act like I was trash until I beat their face in. Yeah, I do know what the stack is, and yeah, I did just beat your Netdeck with my Homebrew.

It's not a problem, its an opportunity to train your {Force of Will}.

I kindly tap what I would like to see or point when they play the card and say may I? Haven't had a problem yet. Most of the people I've been around have been pretty cool. At my LGS there's this guy that brings his 8 year old son and I got matched with him.... That was the only game I got perfect hands. He would play a 4/4 and every time I had a removal spell and so on. I felt like a horrible person.

Hah, I sorta know that feel. I once got paired against a 9-year-old girl who came with her dad. When I sat down I debated whether or not to go easy and maybe even let her win. First game she even got mana-screwed. I felt pretty bad.

Then she started kicking my ass. The kid was SMART. Knew the stack, knew the cards, knew strategy. She FORCED me to play her for real, and was a damn good game.

I've only seen her and her dad there the one time, but wherever you are, little girl, keep being awesome.

"Experienced" players can be the worst. Everyone starts out not knowing what they're doing. Like I said, if someone genuinely doesn't know they're making a mistake, ill gladly and kindly inform them. But if they're making mistakes on purpose (most likely trying to cheat,) i won't be so nice.

Feel the same way.
