Last night at fnm I went 5-0 with my selesnya midrange.

First I destroyed a naya midrange 2-0. First game went by in 3 minutes. Game two took longer but he could not handle a silver heart paired with a silverblade and one paired with a strangleroot.

Then I beat jund 2-0. Jund was a easy match up because I was to fast fore it

Then I  was to fast for 4 color rites 2-0. I was also to fast for this deck

Then destroyed selesnya tokens. In this game he has not able to handle Thalia. it pretty much destroyed him because he did not have an answer for it.

Last game was my hardest game. It was the same black red zombie list that
dudecore posted. I was able to kill him game one because I out raced him. Game two I lost to {Knight of Infamy}. But in game 3 hes night of infamy could not handle mg strangle root Geist. Also sideing in  {Elite Inquisitor} helped to. Against zombies I won 2-1

This is how my 5-0 fnm went

Wonderful story, congradulations. if you'd be so kind as to next time you could post this in FNM results thread. - Dudecore (less unintentionally condescending)

It's good because in a standard filled with too much good stuff, GW seems to have 70% of it

My 3rd match last night i crushed selesnya midrange with my RDW thats posted in the standard part of the forum if u care to take a look, and im NOT here to disrespect your deck in anyway. Just stating facts

I don't think it's necessarily selsnya that's over powered, it's pretty much anything with {G}. I've built decks around each 2 color combo with green and they all run good. The only one that's really lacking as of now is the Simic deck(that will change in February). For the most part in standard right now the majority of deck revolve around a bomb or 2, sometimes 3. Green is the only color that has the triple threat, {Thragtusk}. Not to mention all of the good support cards green has. Green is doing alot more than it usually does right now. So I'd say until RTR rotates out {G} will be the more dominant color for the next 2 years.

Most gw decks I'm seeing now are not running thragtusk. Why?

Thrag isn't fast enough in GW Aggro.

G/W mid-range is cool, although usually when I hear about strangleroot and Silverblade I consider it more G/W aggro. Still, it doesn't usuall have the beats to outrace zombies or even mono-red aggro in the hands of a good player. My opinion is based off of major tournament standings. B/R aggro is just wining more than G/W. And, other than a few cards like strangleroot and Thragtusk, I think green is a fairly weak color right now. I think a deck that's really going to rock the meta after gatecrash will be RBW.
It's called midrange because aggro is a human
Build.  Also I am vary good at playing this deck and i think this version of the deck i made is the best there is.
