Welp both {mox diamond} and LED have been bought out due to eternal masters...
Nice! I literally just got my FTV {Mox Diamond} off Puca like a week ago for close to 30% of original value due to it being "damaged".

Aladormax

I am now less stoked about owning LED as I was a few weeks ago. The buyouts are bad for magic as a game and legacy cannot survive the buyouts that modern can.

What's not-so-bright about this move is WotC is crazy if they think cards like FoW and company that keep players out of Legacy. I don't play legacy b/c I don't want a $2000 manabase and I won't play an eternal format unless I can play the deck I want to play (so no mono-red legacy burn here, blech). Considering people talking about the revised duals going up, I'm LESS likely to play legacy now than ever before.

Play shocks. Problem solved. Or play a deck that doesn't rely on duals.

Mattao19

Miracles doesn't rely too heavily on duals and tbh I feel like {Prarie Stream} could be a good substitute. Fountain is likely better, but I can see a case for Stream.

Also last night I decided to try and build ANT storm .... Woke up and {Lions Eye Diamond} has almost dbled lol

I'll buy them back at the price I sold them to you 😂

Regarding prices of duals: they are spiking, but be a smart player: wait to respond

I'm in the camp that thinks shocks and tangos are viable for legacy. It's all about sequencing: do you really need that b/u t1? No you need one of them

Wasteland is a 2 of in many decks, so why risk your mana being destroyed t1?
Basic basic - tango all day - no abur duals problem solved

I'm very supportive of using shocks or tangos (if supported by your deck). The first dual is a great upgrade since fetch dual turn one is sometimes necessary, but each additional one is a very minor upgrade... You can almost always eot fetch a shock and it won't be a problem. IE, playing reanimator with one sea and 2 graves will be just fine. Playing miracles with one tundra and 3 fountains will be fine. Just play. Don't let a slightly sub optimal mana base hold you back!

Someone in a finance group tried to state that Shardless bug will cost 3900

His deck was running 4 ug seas 3 trips and 3 bayous or something silly like that, no basics

Scg iq qualifier list...but wasteland etc? Blood moon? That's an auto loss for that deck

You don't need 4 of each dual to play legacy

I agree 100%. I have my Elves partial proxied due to only having 2 Cradles ({Crop Rotation}) and 1 {Bayou}. My second {Bayou} is just an {Overgrown Tomb} and I honestly can't imagine a scenario aside from a very clutch game where I would need that second one untapped. I also run 4 Basics, because I'm a huge fan of filtering for {Forest}s.

Totally. People are too set on the net deck philosophy that if a deck isn't exactly as it shows on a deck list online then it's not worth playing.

Nixitalian

{Chaos Orb} just hit big. {Grim Monolith} is also up.

Nixitalian

I'm not sure why. Also not sure if anyone has recognized {Valukut, the Molten Pinnacle} up over $8. Was a bulk rare not too long ago.

Why did Chaos Orb spike?

Sounds stupid but I think it's from "old school" which is 93-94 magic. It's a fake format that is vintage-esque but you can only play cards from 93-94. Really limits the options so playable cards from that era have seen spikes.
