Price Jumps and Drops

What do you guys think about  {Deathrite Shaman}? He's just rotated out and only used in legacy now. I don't think he will ever be unbanned in modern but I want a play set to sit on for commander/casual.
But now or wait and see if he drops?

Agreed. I don't think he'll ever drop below 7-8. He's one of the best mana dork in the game.

And in a few years he'll come back to Modern. At which point: I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the 20-30 range.

Foil fetch lands are already below $50 (except {Polluted Delta}). Considering foils hold their value through reprints, and the best time to get them is as soon as you can get them - the next 2 weeks are prime time to scoop them up. Expect them to be at or around $40 an start collecting!

Amen. Foils are good to sell if you want like..2 of the non-foil version to actually play with. For collectors, it's the most solid investment. Pack foils retain value, even if they're reprinted. While standard copies can suffer a loss (ie Shocklands)

I've been mainly trading all non foils in for foils. Selling my russian kiora for $160, then buying an English foil and another shock foil for $70. Profit!

I used to spec on non foils but I found their price is too volatile, the onslaught fetches are a great example. Normals have dropped, foil polluted from onslaughts....$383...

GR Tron plays it in Modern, and a version of Jund (Punishing Jund) plays it in Legacy to abuse it's interaction with {Punishing Fire}.
