Worth depends on available resources and how/for what the tool is going to be used. It is worth a lot to me, but may not be worth a lot to everyone else.

Well for me I have 1 iPod 3rd gen, iPod 4 th gen and iphone4 so a little hesitant .

It's the first time the iPhone is available on a carrier I can use in my area. I live out in nowhere so I'm used to that and having limited Internet options. But I'm still hesitant because even Sprint service is shoddy in my area and the plan would cost a lot more than what I'm currently paying. But I want one SSOOOOOOOOO BAD!

I'm still running on a 1st gen iPhone, battery is pretty bad at this point, so you can bet I'll be getting one!

Well you better. I'm seriously considering dropping support for anything prior to iOS 5 supporting hardware.

Ouch. 2nd Gen iPod touch here. That leaves me in the dust. I would have most likely bought a new iPod touch if there were an actual new one. I'll be keeping tabs on your decision...
