I am wanting to add Black to this deck. I already know I'm taking out {Sun Titan} for the new Sorin. I want to take out {Spirit Mantle} o just don't know what to put in. Any advice?

A flying 8/8 hex proof, uncounterable, first striking troll with regenerate sounds a little bit rediculous. Do you use this much at FNM? How quickly do you typically get thrun scarier?

If you are looking for a good equipment to replace it, maybe a sword? What type of thing are you looking to replace {spirit mantle} with?

I like {avacyns collar} from DA that could replace the mantle

I do not think this deck's synergy will appreciate a black splash for a planeswalker

I've actually had Thrun an 8/8 on turn 4 quite a bit. I just recently mixed the deck with township tokens. I figured it would compliment. And it does. The deck is pretty fast and wins more than loses at FNM. Since it has alot of tokens I figured the new Sorin would fit nicely.

Have you thought about any of the Dark Ascension cards yet? {Increasing Devotion} or {Requiem Angel} could help that {Beast Within} you've got in there.

I do not think requiem angel is that good. It is a flying angel that beats and makes 1/1 when your creatures die. I dont think it is any better than the cards already in this deck. I would not take anything out for it.
Increasing devotion is just silly. It costs 5 for a 5/5 and 9 for a 10/10 and they are all just little creatures in the meanwhile, so your opponents can simply slagstorm. This deck is good enough as it is. I would not make any special changes (especially with dark ascension stuff)

Appleguru is a good slice of cold hard über-Spikeness. ðŸ' I approve.

When he speaks, I feel like hammering my gavel down to end the discussion since the point has been made....which reminds me...where is my gavel????  Good stuff Appleguru
