 {Arcane Melee} looks like fun here!
I would drop in a set of  {Farseek} and  {Chromatic Lantern} or two to make sure you hit your curve.

Adding green for farseek is a longshot but it would mean i could add more populate....
Chromatic lantern would limit my need of gates though... Wich is good.*
My problem so far is that its not fast enough!
Tips? Im thinking i could add {Nivmagus elemental} and 1 cmc spells + draw.
I mean the spell doesnt need to resolve for talrand and g-snipes...

Haha. Oh wow!  I looked at this list and did t even realize you wernt running {G}!
Draw is a better option then going quad colors!
I do like the elemental. Also  {Curiosity} can help you draw, attached to a snipe!

{Sphinx's Revelation} is waaaaaaay better then fleeting disappointment.
If you have them they should go in!
Also since you'll be drawing a bunch of cards a  {Reliquary Tower} or two couldn't hurt.

I would drop the white stuff for  {Cackling Counterpart} and the following combo

{Gilded Lotus} + {Archaeomancer} + {Ghostly Flicker} = (unlimited enter the bf and blue spell cast)
With the following on the board:
Guttersnipe = damage
Talrand = drakes
Goblin electromancer = blue mana! ({Increasing Confusion} for the win)

Really shouldn't be too hard to hit. :)

Edit:
Actually with the mana, once you have enough blue mana (I dunno, say a million) you can cast the combo without the lotus, so just flicker whatever land (one at a time) you want, tap add mana to the pool, rinse-repeat.
