How many?

As of right now I have 1 standard deck and am thinking of a 2nd. I've never really had more then 2 decks and that was when I did play EDH.

Can someone explain to me how this doesn't get boring? Only 1 deck. I'm not criticizing. I'm asking for realz. Bc I would get bored seeing and testing the same combos and cards over and over and OVER!  Once again. Not criticizing. Just curious. Bc I have a guy in my playgrouo like this and he has 3 decks. I know exactly what combos he's gunna pull everytime. And I almost always have an answer.

Limitations on cards, still testing decks.... There could be many many reasons why but only that person really knows.
I only have what I have because of card limitations and I'm not great at deck building so I takes me FOREVER to build a dec that runs right.

The reason people play with only a couple decks is so they know that they have something solid and can constantly tweak to play against any deck type
As it is I keep 7 together 3 standard(junk reanimator, grixis control, uw detain/mill) 2 commander (mono blue control, BW grave pact) and 2 jank casual that fluctuate every now and then.

I like to play decks with a lot of field interaction. I can not play decks with less then 3 colors. And once I do get bored with a deck I start from scratch completely. But I will play and tweak a deck until I am satisfied with it.

I have six. Two of them can become standard with the removal of just a few cards. Otherwise, they are just casual.

I have a Legacy UB Reanimator on a budget, a UB Affinity. And in standard I currently have BG Zombies and GW Midrange. I am working on taking apart Midrange and putting together Bant Control.

So how many decks do you guys have?   I have two serious decks hat I am constantly tuning and then 6 or 7 others that are for casual.  This is after I broke apart about 4 decks that I just wasn't happy with.

So, how many?  What kind of variety?  Or are they pretty similar?

Right now.... Mhmmm took me two months to gather cards from my old collection and buy new cards... But now I am on 3 standard decks, 2 modern decks and 3 legacy decks. Now working on "FuN" deck... Am curious if scarecrows could work...:D

Anyway 8 decks plus few are under construction...:D

I usually only have one standard deck... But I may also have a modem one if there is modern events coming up. I usually just like to trade away or sell cards I'm not using.

If my wife would not play then possibly I would have only one max two standard decks as well...:D but she kind of like the game and I had to make a deck for her...:D

I just started playing magic again a few months ago. I have one standard deck a 2 or 3 that still need work. My only problem is I over think all my ideas.

I started around when m12 came out and have always had one deck. Though it hasn't always been the same. I was junk, then mono black control, then rakdos, now U/W jank.
