Tbh I don't think that should matter much on the bearing of friendship. Regardless I don't like them both, Romney is a rhino and they're both as bad as bush. I just prefer some of the things Romney is falsely promoting, and tbh it's as simple as who has my personal interests at heart more. I couldn't give a crap about social issues it has no place in government.

That's so funny all it has is your picture and the fact that you like mittens. Well, im going to add you but you'll have to ignore all of my Romney bashing posts, haha 😜

DirtyMustachio

That's really weird that's all it has haha, well I don't put to much thought into .politics. on fb

Just doesn't seem like the place to post about it, for the most part everyone talking about it have their minds made up, I just think that it fuels fires between people.

This is unlike me, but I'll chime in on the political discussion.

Elections are based on what the elector's want to hear and as such many important topics are over looked or misaddressed. It sickens me how the current economic state of america is presented to the citizens. We are not in a "recession" as they say. If we were people would not be buying cars and this forum certainly wouldnt be around. This is an economic lull or downturn based on misinformed general public, bad spending, a student tuition increase of 1200% in ten years, and a misplaced fear of spending do to mass inflation finally over stretching people's stupidity (housing market crash).

The problems te general american faces today stem from well intended advice given to each generation by their predecessors. Our parents and their parents just don't understand that an increased cost of living as so far outweighed the adverage income that the old ways of achieving success and financial stability dont work in today's economy. Student loan debt is far greater than any non-specialist (non doctors, lawyers, engineers) degree based profession is likely to ever pay off completely. Most student loan debt is, has, and will be transfered to credit card debt and carry in one form or another to the grave and on to the family as a nasty inheritance. The idea that going to higher education will make you a successful individual is no longer applicable to our society, at least not through loans.

The real power of success lays deeply seated in the power of association. Chances are your five closest friends make roughy the same amount of money as you, 3 or more vote te same way as you, and 4 or more have a job of similar status as you. These friends will greatly influence your next 5 years of your life and continue to do so as long as they are around. If you do not wish to live the same life as them, or for some of you follow in your parents footsteps, you can not afford to take their advice on anything that they dont have what you want. If you dont want their income dont listen to them on money, if you dont want their marriage dont listen to them on that, etc.

Please i beg of you, take a look at the source of your information and decide if you want what that source has on that topic before you listen to it. Back to the .politics., these important concepts are overlooke in our society because many professionals and politicians benifit from each of us remaining largely in a certain demographic that wants to hear what makes them feel good: your money problems are due o a recession, your family will be able to move to america easier, your local jobs will be reserved for your children not foreign workers, your hard work is valued, your education in important to us as it should be to you, etc.

There is my rant, i don't like to get into this often, because i feel i am only equipped to protect myself and the one i love from all te BS out there and make little effort to keep up all the happenings of the world as long as i know enough to be successful in my own right and be respected by those who have graciously reached out to lead me on this road to success.
