Bloodghast comes back for free by playing a land, gravecrawler comes back for 1 mana and only if you have a zombie. Bloodghast is strictly better

Not nessecarily, {Perish} is a completely dead card against anything non green *COUGH* merfolk *COUGH*
While {Engineered Plague} is rarely ever a dead card
