Daily Combo 7: Tree of Life

This one may be fairly obvious to some, but I'd like to put it down anyway.

{Tree of Redemption} + {Strata Scythe} (or any other toughness booster)

The Tree is definitely a card that have some serious Johnny implications.  Gaining buckets o' life is the obvious one.  Now, if you can boost it's toughness, then ever time you trade, you gain more each time.  Say you had a Scythe on the tree and five {Forest}s in play giving +5/+5.  Assuming you're still at 20 life when you use the ability, then your new life total would be 18, and the Tree's would be 25 (your 20 + Scythe's +5).  Next turn, use it again and your life will be 25 and the Tree will be a 5/30.
Rinse, Lather, Repeat.

There are other pieces of equipment in Standard to boost it's toughness and really they'll all do the same job.  If we leave Standard, then we can add fun stuff like {Seedborn Muse}, {Ageless Entity}, splash some other colors for a {Doran, Siege Tower} for a Tree few will want to mess with.

What do you think?  Any other good combo suggestions to go with the {Tree of Redemption}?  I'm all eyes.

Edit: Oops, it's not up yet.  It's a preview. I was actually thinking of other combos with the new "fateful hour" keyword. You give make the tree small, give it your life, get a reward for being below 5 life, then switch back.
