maybe it's just that this was my best card during pre release or maybe it's just that good at 3.80 I'd get a playset now I can see this card going up in the 10-12 range

I'm trying to get a playset.

Uw has some great pieces and t7 cyclonic rift is HUGE. It's a potential win con in my eyes. I know I've only seen it played in limited. But against Aggro with low land counts it will be devastating.

Got mine early. $10 for the playset. The {upheaval} part isn't really relevant to me at this point, gotta see what the meta looks like. There maybe better uses for 7 mana. *shrug*

But it's so much better than upheaval.

For a control deck 7 mana isn't that much to swing. I think it will be an excellent card.

The instant speed is what sets it apart. EOT return all your creatures to your hand

It sure is a bomb in limited I think it will see constructed play though.  During prerelease we had a creature stall I'm just building a wall and so is he then top deck cyclonic rift wipe his board swing for 20

It's a lot of mana to leave untapped, I get it though. You wait till they Tap out, drop a bomb, you send everything back and they have to discard. Solid.

The card will most definelty see play, because {Disperse} is gone ({cyclonic rift} is actually worse, because you can't target your own things). The one-sided {upheaval} may just be a top deck move, I don't know about leaving 7 mana untapped and having nothing better to spend it on.

But I could be wrong...maybe someone breaks it and domination ensues..

That fact that its instant is what makes it relevant. 7 mana open with {forbidden alchemy} {entreat the angels} {cyclonic rift} in hand. You have options, yes you play something better if you have it. Playing control is about timing and hittin the board with entreat the next turn send everything to their hand = sweet.
