I was wondering how {omen machine} works. It reads kinda confusing. It says to exile the top card of your library but then it says if it is a land place it on the BF and if it is any other card type to cast it if able without paying it's mana cost. So doe this mean if it is a card that you can't cast for whatever reason you just exile it automatically?  Or do you exile a card first and the flip another card?  I might have answered this question already some clarification would be helpful.

BlackJester

Yep.

In more detail, you are right. The player must cast it if possible, whether they want to or not. If you can't cast it, (eg it's a creature aura and there are no creatures in play) then it stays exiled.

SpiritedAway

This card is for those people think top decking is the best thing in the world. Such an adrenaline rush when you pull that {Snapcaster Mage} for the win.

Personally, I'd probably try to abuse this with Scry, {Sensei's Divining Top}, or all permanents.  Imagine slapping it into play with {Master Transmuter}  in response to a {Ponder} LOL.  Then use it on your turn and bounce it back to your hand for their turn.

hehehehe

edit: {Ponder} was a bad example.  I was thinking of {Brainstorm}.

I know a couple of guys that use omen machine to avoid {knowledge pool}
