Idk if this would go here or help... I'm kinda confused on what it means by when a card is "broken" my friends use this term a lot and since they have been playing longer than I have idk what it means so could someone please explain to me what it means... Ty

I think this is mentioned in Terms to Know in General Discussion, but "to break" a card means to use it in a way that is overpowered. Calling a card "broken" means that is is overpowered or very powerful.

90% of the time people mean "something that doesn't exactly work my way 100% of the time" is "broken".

Broken is something overly powerful. The power 9 are broken, every single deck benefits from them, and if you can play them you should.

Broken is a sort of positive term too. Taking a previous underpowered card and then "breaking" it to make it playable.

Ok tysm so instead of saying something's OP I can use that ha sounds cooler too XD

Many people consider {snapcatser Mage} to be a broken card on its own because it is a lot of value for two mana.  However a card like {wild defiance} isn't great on its own, but in infect decks broke it.
