Dude check out {Increasing Confusion}. I just bought 4 for my mill deck. Legal in every game type.

Even better, check out {Brain Freeze}, I'm guessing this deck isn't Standard right? {Brain Freeze} is so frekin' insane! I love that card.

I thought about that too. But I keep thinking it's not legal in certain games... I don't remember though.

Really? Wouldn't doubt it, sandbagging a BF until the end of your opponents turn can be devastating! Having 2 in your hand is even worse! Play one right after the other! If they play even 2 spells and you tap out 4 mana for 2 BF's your milling them for 21!!! 21 cards for 4 mana is pretty damn good. {Sword of Body and Mind} is also good, and {Ambassador Laquatus}, he's a good mana sink.

I have thought about putting in {Ambassador Laquatus}, but I hadn't even thought of the sword. That would really go well with some of the cards in my deck, and also when I get {Jace's Phantasm} haha thanks for the idea!

It's casual, but what exactly is the modern format? I'm kinda new to MTG..

Modern includes any cards that are printed with a Modern border, look at all of the cards from M13 {Oblivion Ring}, {Jace's Phantasm}, from Innistrad block, {Stromkirk Noble}, {Garruk's Packleader}, they all have a certain style to them. Now look at {Arcanis, the Omnipotent}, {Cho Manno's Blessing}, {Rofellos, Llanowar Emissary}. Do you see how the style of the second set of cards is completely different from that of the cards that are printed nowadays? Any cards that have that "Modern" border, are legal for Modern Formats. Although, in Modern there are quite a lot bans, but those are easy to look up. Essentially what you made here is a Modern Mill deck, there aren't any cards that I can see that do not have that Modern look.

EDIT: Also, any older cards, without the Modern border, that have been reprinted in newer sets that have that new look, are considered legal in Modern, and playable in Standard. It is still the same card, it's just an older version of it. (I.E. {Ravenous Rats}, there is an Invasion version of this card, with an old school printing, but also a newer version, that has just been re-released in M13, therefore the Invasion Rats is playable, due to it being the same card.)

Hope that helped!

Thanks for the explanation.
And I'd say that I am trying to go for a modern/casual mono blue mill deck.

InfinitiveDivinity

You should check out my Mill deck I've been working on, it's under the Casual section titled "Deep Sea Milling", I bumped it for ya. The Sideboard includes cards that I swap out for Modern, the normal build is more of a Legacy/Vintage/Casual approach. Although the decklists aren't completely fixated yet.
