I know Golgari plays into that, but that is A LOT to spend for 1 card. You'd actually be better off splashing {U} to get the same 1 card cheaper.

Some old school torny decks ran 4x {howling mine} and 4x {black vise}.  Discarding your hand can actually help against those decks.  I have a friend that actually still runs one of those decks.  Not fun.

I could see {Kindercatch} being a little better than {Vizzerdrix} since {Kindercatch} is {G}.  It is easier to ramp into and could be an ok pauper card.  {Vizzerdrix} is a rare.
