Bear!

First as it's a Burning Vengeance deck you may y'know run 4. Now after that in the current creature crazy metagame your going to need more removal, plain and simple. I'd run some Pillar of Flames, perhaps? This deck used to live on sweeper after sweeper, but we lost those in rotation.

I'd take out the Thought Scours. You want to PLAY your spells twice. Not mill them and then flash them after. Maybe add in Think Twice instead?

I agree with Bear, 4x {Burning Vengeance} and {Think Twice} seem too good in this deck. Also with the board sweeps. I know they're $1,000,000, but {Bonfire of the Damned}?

Bonfires at my shop go for 16-20 bucks now, it's value is gonna drop more when RtR releases.

Guttersnipe is strictly better than vengeance.

And secrets of the dead is insane, plain and simple. SO much card advantage. Also the 4 vengeance cos of the deck name is an odd comment too as Birthing Pod is usually a 2 or 3-of in poddecks

Bear!

From the standpoint of actually playing the deck, 4 of is a must. You want multiples of BV. It's essential.. Now gutter+BV is where I'm thinking if taking the deck(with some enchantment removal for the new gy cards) Perhaps with the 8 similar shock effects, sweepers aren't as needed, maybe. But the worst matchups were aggro decks like humans and zombies.

Guttersnipe is strictly better than vengeance.
Strictly betters are extremely rare, and this isn't one of them. Guttersnipe is a creature with 2 toughness, and as such is subject to way more removal than an enchantment. While Guttersnipe in a vacuum is generally a better card than Vengeance, you can't claim that it is Strictly better. That being said, no one suggested you remove Guttersnipe for more Vengeance. They are both engines for you and you want 4 of both.
