My LGS called just now saying they have a realms for me at MSRP :)

I was wondering...what should I do with it? I think wait until RTR or Gatecrash then trade it for any new mono black control items that I need.

But maybe someone here has something better to offer? Pr suggestions on what to do with it (keep it sealed or open).

Rass

No clue I'm keeping mine sealed. Next to my other three(still trying to get a dragons).

I do know one person who is looking for it and has some good trade bait.

Hopefully I will be able to get 3 more...I can only realistically see myself getting one more though, with my small paychecks xD

My LGS told me they would sell it at MSRP so I took off work early.....cost me $75 in wages.  I figured it was worth it to get off early and only pay MSRP for the set.  I get there and they are selling them for $80.  I am at a loss for words at how 😡 I am right now.....

Yeah, my only hope is that they haven't stocked the shelves until this afternoon
Imma head there straight after work.

me too. I cannot justify 250% markup on anything. Why didn't Wizards just MSRP it at $100?

Because then it would be $250? ;D

Poof

These are so limited that big chain stores like wal mart and target don't get any.  That's my understanding anyway I've never seen them there in the past same for the event decks never see those at the big stores. They do get duel decks though

Wizards states the whole point of this set is so ppl can play with cards they normally cannot afford to.  They need to sell them direct to consumers 🔨

So Walmart won't have them?? But the one I work at currently doesn't even have a spot on the shelf for them if that's any indicator

I think that's where they're going with Commander Arsenal.

Let's take a second to study the value chain model.  This model states that as a manufacturer I need to ensure that value is be added to my product throughout each stage of the distribution channel.  For example, my transportation company who ships my products is fast, efficient, and gets the products where they need to be ... my retailers offer great customer support and make people feel good about purchasing my products and/or offer gaurantees or warranties.  Now how the does a LGS offer any added value to the product when they mark it up 300% and all they are doing is taking it out of the UPS box and giving it to you????  Fricking WoTC needs to either offer this 💩 directly to consumers or stop putting a suggested MSRP that is complete BULL💩❕❕❕❕

And yes I am still steaming about those CS'ers at my LGS, The Dragon's Refuge in Peotone, IL......AKA DOUCHEBAGS OF AMERICA!

Supply & Demand, my friend.

I kinda see it as a way for WotC to reward LGSs and other distributors. If they can make a profit of off MSRP, then imagine how much extra coin they are getting.
Wizards is saying "here's something players will pay lots of money for, and you can mark WAY up.  Your welcome!"

Remember, WotC isn't making the difference, just the retailers.
