So there seems to be a debate on here which one is a better vampire. {Olivia voldaren} or {bloodline vampire}. I currently play Olivia as my anchor, but I think I'm going to make the move to bloodthrone because I feel he is a better late game anchor. I currently play a R/B vampire burn and I sometimes, "run out of steam" and I think he will keep momentum going.

So long story short is I want to hear your guys opinions on them because I have noticed the decks on here play one or the other.

Ideas?

DirtyMustachio

I would run two bloodline keepers and two voldaren

Sorry, broken link.

{bloodline keeper}

I would love to do that but I don't want to take out {falkenrath aristocrats} so I have to do three of one

Do you have humans in your vampire deck? If so, keep the flakenrath guys. If not I'd lean towards Olivia being supported by the bloodline keeper.

If you are playing against any kind of removal you may find it hard to get/keep 5 vampires on the field long enough to use his ability. However, with Olivia using her pinch creature ability, and her built in removal, you may have more success, especially moving into a later game where you may be top decking land.

I have so many turn five or six wins with {vexing devils} and the falkenraths lead the way to victory.. They are too fast not to have the falkenraths.

Hunteroffire9

I run 4 bloodlines and to Olivia cause she's legendary

Olivia gives you field control and a fatty that keeps gettin bigger, however, she is
Legendary so there's a limit to her uses.
Bloodline keeper pumps out a token and then flips and puts out a buffe token and buffs all your other guys. In a pure vampire deck I'd run three bloodline keeper and two Olivia, there both way to good to not be running them in all honesty.

An Angry Fatman

My deck is all about speed. If I don't win by turn 7 I don't win at all. I run four aristocrats and have three anchor positions and don't like the idea of running two of one creature and one of the other. That's why I created this to get a discussion of the pros and cons.

I personally like Olivia over the keeper, however both are great cards. I've just won so many games because of Olivia.

Same, Olivia is a beast. Stick with her. :)

Well, even if your deck wins by turn 7, it would still be fairly smart to have something that would help you past those turns just in case, bloodline keeper lets you assemble an army while being able to throw a great buff on your army. Olivia, if you drop in turn four, she can let you ping a creature the next turn and do it again, next turn take control of one of there fatties and hit'em with it. They both have flying, just think about which you'd rather have on a turn four position. If you can have a decent amount of vamps out by then, I'd go with bloodline keeper.

Agreed, thanks for the input guys. I'm trying a tourney tonight with bloodlines and going from there. I'll leave feedback tonight

So bloodline didn't work out... Olivia was a better choice. Milk however was a bad choice.
